Director of Nutrition
After growing up in Italy, she decided come to America to further her education in nutrition and attended the most cutting-edge nutrition schools. At an early age, she realized how food can affect the body and its functions. She remember telling her mom and her pediatrician how certain foods made her feel not well, they were telling her that wasn’t possible and it was all in her head. Then as a teenager she become aware how the food she was eating could make a difference in her appearance and on how she felt. Monica was an athlete most of her life and by changing her diet she was able to transform her appearance and performance.
In the late 90’s, her mother had a major heart attack. It was a very upsetting time for her. The doctors told her that she was not going to live more than 6 months. Monica completely changed her diet, put her on a very strict supplement program, her mom recovered, lived a normal and happy life for more than 12 years. She saw Monica getting married and have her daughter, Shannon. Her mom died at 94 years old of unrelated causes.
